Lynn Conway has some excellent pages explaining the basics of Gender,
Transgenderism, and Transsexualism. Highly recommended as a starting point for
those needing information.
Andrea James has a site with a great deal of information on things you will need
during and after transition. The following link will take you to the sitemap, which is
honestly the best place to start.
Lambda Legal is an excellent resource, providing legal help to and for the Trans
Community. Well worth a donation, and a good place to check for help with legal
issues. Also wonderful people to work with.

Jim Collins Foundation is a wonderful organization which assists Transsexuuals
with funding for surgery. Excellent idea, well worth exploring the option.
